Exclusive event for alumni, students & their invited guests: On March 22, Naeem Zafar will discuss some of the most innovative technologies coming out of Silicon Valley and how they will likely have profound impacts on our lives. In a lecture exclusive to alumni and students, Mr. Zafar will discuss the implications of these technologies and engage in a rigorous dialogue with the audience.

Attendees are invited to enjoy networking time before and after the event.  This is an excellent opportunity to engage with TLI faculty, current students, alumni, and our guest speaker around this important topic.  Bring a colleague or friend that you think might benefit from the discussion or from TLI’s programs. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served and a raffle will be held to give away books related to technology strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship.  A cash bar will be available during networking following the event.

There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

About the Speaker

Naeem Zafar is a renowned serial entrepreneur and lecturer. He is the co-founder and CEO of TeleSense, a company creating solutions in the Internet of Things (IoT) space. With a background in electrical engineering, he has started and/or worked at six companies, including Start-Up Advisor, which educates and advises entrepreneurs on starting and operating a business. Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of Bitzer Mobile, an enterprise security and mobility company that was acquired by Oracle in 2013. Mr. Zafar has also been teaching at the University of California-Berkeley since 2005. He is a Dean's Teaching Fellow, lecturer and Industry Fellow at the Center of Entrepreneurship and Technology. He is also the Professor of Practice at Brown University. He teaches courses in entrepreneurship, technology strategy, innovation and new venture finance at both UC-Berkeley and Brown.
