  • The Changing Role of the CIO

    October 10, 2018

An event geared towards TLI alumni & students, CSE students & faculty and their invited guests:

The one constant in technology is change — new technologies, processes and business drivers. Over the years, Chief Information Officers have often focused on "keeping the lights on" managing the technology footprint to deliver results and value to their organizations. Given the disruptive technologies available to businesses today, especially around digital, change is occurring at an accelerated pace — and with it, the role of CIO is evolving. This begs the question, what makes a CIO successful in the digital age? How do technology professionals know what their organization needs, and how they need to lead? Join us for a panel discussion led by one of our M.S. in Management of Technology faculty members.

Join us for happy hour (appetizers and cash bar) from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to network with University and community technology professionals. The program will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

    Event Schedule:
    5:30 p.m.: Happy hour & networking
    6:00 p.m.: Program begins
7:00 p.m.: Large group Q&A with the guest speakers
    7:15 p.m.: Program concludes & networking
