TLI's Mike Johnson on Efficacy of Video Policing on Social Media | Technological Leadership Institute
TLI's Mike Johnson spoke with Kare11 about Facebook's decision to hire another 3,000 workers to review videos of crime and suicides as a response to murders that were live streamed. They discuss Facebook's challenges to make it easier to report such videos (and potentially save lives) in a way that is effective but does not hinder reporting and free speech. Johnson is the director of graduate studies for the M.S. in Security Technologies, as well as the James J. Renier Chair in the Management of Security Technologies.
