National leaders from academia, business and government to collaborate to improve the state of cyber security

The University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) is proud to be a presenting sponsor of the sixth annual Cyber Security Summit. Cyber-attacks can happen anywhere, at any time, disrupting and damaging our democracy and way of life. Cyber Security Summit provides an opportunity for C-level executives, technology leaders, public policy makers, lawyers, forward thinking business owners, and end users to come together to improve the state of cyber security on both a domestic and international level.
Cyber Security Summit 2016 will feature a nationally-recognized lineup of cyber security experts including:
- Dr. Massoud Amin, director and professor, Technological Leadership Institute, University of Minnesota
- Andrew Borene, consultant, Booz Allen Hamilton; senior fellow, Technological Leadership Institute, University of Minnesota
- Lizabeth Lehrkamp, special agent, U.S Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Bob Stasio, Senior Product Manager, Cyber Analysis, IBM
- Dr. Shima Keene, director of Conflict Studies Research Centre, Oxford; director of security economics program, Institute for Statecraft in London
The Summit will also offer sessions on a diverse lineup of topics including ransomware, how to attract and retain cyber talent, and a closing keynote address from Suzanne Spaulding, under secretary for National Protection and Programs Directorate at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
