TLI’s Mike Johnson Reacts to Congressional Opposition to Reauthorization of Government Spying | Technological Leadership Institute

Several members of Congress recently joined forces in opposing a reauthorization of a spying tool, Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, by U.S. intelligence authorities due to concerns over security and privacy. Mike Johnson, director of graduate studies for the M.S. in Security Technologies (MSST), was interviewed for the story. He states that bipartisan opposition illustrates how politics of surveillance and security have changed, especially following recent revelations from whistleblowers like Edward Snowden.
