Cybersecurity, Critical Infrastructure, Risk Management

Cybersecurity and Risk Management

Few fields are growing faster or jobs more essential than ensuring the safety of our communities. Now more than ever, the world needs leaders trained to keep our communities safe in all 16 sectors of critical infrastructures, including cyber, physical and virtual security systems. The Technological Leadership Institute uses a holistic approach to train the next generation of security leaders with the critical skills and foresight needed to address real-world challenges as they arise through the Master of Science in Security Technologies (ST) degree program.

ST is specifically designed to teach security professionals to understand and design resilient systems in order to identify and mitigate issues related to inter-dependencies in critical infrastructure. This program provides students the skills and perspectives to identify weaknesses in response planning and to take actions that ensure an organization is ready and able to effectively cope with issues like cyber incidents and pandemics.

Investing in risk management and security mitigation requires an understanding of the whole system, not just the technical parts. ST applies business leadership understanding to security challenges that can ensure appropriate investments are made to secure an organization's future.
