Deborah Mackay

Deborah MackayAdjunct Faculty Deb Mackay teaches Construction Law and Ethics. Deb practiced construction law and commercial litigation at the Minneapolis firm of Faegre & Benson (1995 - 2009, partner 2003-09). During that time she handled disputes and transactions for numerous industry participants, including contractors, owners, design professionals and suppliers. Since 2008 Deb has taught construction law and ethics at the University of Minnesota (construction management and infrastructure systems engineering programs). She also teaches construction law at William Mitchell College of Law.

Deb graduated cum laude from Hamline University School of Law. She is originally from Birmingham, England, and holds a B.A. and M.A. in French and German from Cambridge University.
