Bradford B. Henry, PE

Senior Transportation Engineer

Bradford Henry received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a registered professional engineer in Minnesota and California. Presently works for URS directing design activities for city, county and state highway projects and coordinates GIS functions. Prior to that he worked as a civil engineer for the City of Minneapolis for over 31 years. In that capacity, he managed and coordinated the street survey and design functions, which included the implementation of automated design for the Public Works Department and also developed and implemented a citywide GIS. He has been instrumental in developing MetroGIS, which makes GIS data and maps available for the entire Twin Cities metro area.

In addition to MetroGIS, he's been a member and leader in several organizations, including American Public Works Association (APWA), American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), International Highway Engineer Exchange Program (HEEP), and Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA).
