    Medical Device by MDI Faculty Member is Helping Veterans Walk

    TLI faculty member Dr. Lars Oddsson, a pioneer in the orthopedic wearables industry, is helping veterans regain their balance and walk better with Walkasins, a wearable prosthesis. The medical device can help patients with peripheral neuropathy, which often affects diabetics, but also veterans, many of whom may have acquired the condition from Agent Orange. Dr. Oddsson is a faculty member in the M.S. in Medical Device Innovation degree program.
