An event geared towards TLI alumni, students and their invited guests: To thrive rather than survive in tumultuous times, strategic leadership, innovation and forward thinking are required. The U.S. health care industry has faced its share of challenges in recent years as stakeholders attempt to manage costs and improve outcomes while focusing on the patient experience. As the convener, influencer and information source for Minnesota’s renowned healthcare industry, Medical Alley has faced these challenges as well. Shaye Mandle joined Medical Alley as CEO in the midst of these uncertain times. Today, the organization is flourishing under its new (and old) name, a new business model, with a growing membership and new service offerings. Join us for an insightful evening as Mr. Mandle shares his personal leadership journey and insights on effective leadership during challenging times.

About the Speaker

Shaye Mandle has served as President and CEO of the Medical Alley Association since May 2014. Under his leadership, the Association's vision is to elevate Minnesota's Medical Alley as the world's epicenter of health care and innovation. He has also served as the Association's EVP and COO, as well as VP of Government and Affiliate Relations. Mr. Mandle has more than 20 years of experience in government, the private sector and academia, during which time he has led organizations, public affairs and political activities. He has extensive policy and political experience from when he served on the policy staff of the former U.S. House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert and former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.
