Ben Morrison is a natural born leader. He served seven years of active duty as a U.S. Army signal officer, where he was responsible for planning and executing all aspects of communication on a mission, and led a team of 120 people. Morrison has also worked for NATO and several organizations in Minneapolis as an upper-level IT project manager.

During his service as Deputy Administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Richard Serino helped lead department response for more than 60 national disasters, including Super Storm Sandy. In this interactive seminar, Serino will share insights gained from his more than 40 years of public service in emergency management and disaster response. He will explain how he led FEMA to adopt a “whole community” approach to better focus on the needs of survivors of natural and human-caused disasters.
